This historic condominium project in Avondale has views for miles of the St. Johns River and downtown Jacksonville. Our homeowner wanted to make the most of her open floor plan with the flexibility to turn her office nook into an overflow space for guests. We designed a custom Murphy bed with wood panel treatment that serves as a visual art space with open shelving to showcase her antique and art collection when not in use. When guests arrive, the Murphy bed easily pulls down to reveal hidden storage, lighting and outlets for phone chargers. Additionally, we updated the living, dining and bedroom areas with muted tones and treatments. The primary bedroom is a true oasis, complete with a tropical mural and built-in nightstands that enhance the space and allow for the views to shine.
